Justice Dr. P. Jyothimani practiced as a lawyer in Madras High Court for 29 years from 1975 to 2005. He was elevated as Judge, Madras High Court on 10.12.2005 and demitted office as such on 25.10.2012. He was then appointed as a Member (Judicial) of, the National Green Tribunal, New Delhi on 26.12.2012 and served there ll 23.05.2015. He was transferred to N.G.T., Southern Zone, Chennai from where he retired on 25.10.2017 successfully completing his distinguished tenure. He has since resumed practice as a Senior Advocate, at the Supreme Court of India, and is acting as Mediator / Arbitrator in several mediation / arbitral proceedings.
